- is a complete remake of the popular Date Ariane with all new wide screen HD graphics, and for the first time ever to play as a male or a female!

- NEW!

- The default game resolution is 2560 x 1440. This will be especially noticeable on a 3K or 4K monitor now that the graphics have been updated to Daz renders. The game will still work fine in 1080p

- NEW!

- The player character avatars have been updated. Better looking avatars.

- NEW!

- The beginning of the game has radically changed, and new introductory text added. Many things have been rearranged, especially the first part.

- NEW! All the music has been changed. Got the music from Tune Pocket. Added new music to the drive downtown and the museum tour.

- NEW! Text by default has switched to standard Visual Novel format, where text appears at the bottom with a color coded name of who's talking. But you can switch back to classic "comic" mode used in 1.0 to 1.5 versions.

- NEW! I eliminated the help screen walkthroughs, I'm experimenting with emoji icons next to choices that are potentially bad. They are optional of course. Also an "Anxiety" mode loosely based on

- The Stanley Parable

- that acts as a game tutorial for the first part of the game, also optional.

- NEW! I added some background music, and a new volume control to control it. It's another Visual Novel staple you can play or mute as you wish. I chose music that is either relaxing or fun to match the spirit of the game. All background music is looped.

- Date Ariane Remastered is now voiced!

- I used AI voice via Eleven Labs, the same I used for Something's In the Air Redux, to voice Date Ariane Remastered. All versions except the Low Res Android version have been updated.

- Because DAR has half the lines that SITAR does, every line has been voiced. Lines that contain a variable are delivered generically. The very first voiced line will show Ariane say your name, but the voice will call you "my date". Text is more important than voice and voice can be turned off by turning the voice volume to zero in Preferences.

- AI voices are good enough, but not as good as human voice actors, and I recognize that. But I can't afford to hire voice actors, so AI is the way I am going. It adds a new dimension to the game I hope you appreciate.

- Other Changes

- Besides voice, many lines of dialog have been changed or improved in part to improve the voice lines, but also improves the readability. A greater use of contractions ("I'm" instead of "I am") will be noticeable.

- Bonus is easier to reach! The rule to wait until you get 60 achievements to unlock the bonus. Now you only need two: "All five dinners" (yes I know that requires five dates to achieve) and "Sex Endurance" which proves you went all the way on a date. Once you get both, prove it by running the achievements check, and it will invite you to the bonus. You then need to go to "Character" and create a bonus character. You can switch back in Preferences.

- The bonus has been expanded in places with about a dozen new pictures and expanded scenes.

- Several bugs have been fixed as well.

- Very small update. It updates the opening title screen image and fixes a rare missing file bug. Haven't had any other bug reports.

- 1.02:

- Fixed a bug when going to convenience store and player has had too much to drink and Ariane is in her black dress, you now properly walk to the store.

- Fixed an issue with the "Kiss You all Over" achievement where the game was not giving credit to kisses on the lake during the "Romantic Walk on the Beach" path

- Fixed a small issue with the "Wet Clothes" achievement.

- Fixed an issue when in "Show All" achievements mode not showing all of the achievements when there was more than one to show.

- There is a small free patch you can download, if you don't want to redownload. There is a README.txt with instructions to patch.

- Fixed a major bug where after swimming and you call a ride, Ariane takes a shower and forgets that she called the ride and wants to drive.

- Fixed a minor bug where after checking the mail with dry hair, Ariane returns home with wet hair.
